Parlaresoft ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and their end users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data in connection with our managed AI assistant platform (the "Service").

1. Who We Are

2. Data We Collect

Account data: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and billing information (processed securely by Paddle, our payment provider).

Bot configuration data: The knowledge base, system prompts, and configuration settings you provide to set up your AI agent.

Conversation logs: Messages exchanged between your end users and your AI agent. Conversation logging is opt-in and disabled by default. You may enable it in your account settings. If enabled, logs are stored for 90 days unless you configure a shorter retention period.

Usage data: Technical data about how the Service is used, including API call volumes, response times, and error logs, used for billing, monitoring, and service improvement.

3. How We Use Your Data

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your Customer Content to train AI models.

4. Data Storage and Location

Customer data is stored on servers in the European Union and, for customers in Brazil, on servers located in Brazil to comply with LGPD requirements. We use Hetzner Cloud infrastructure for agent deployments and Supabase for account and configuration data.

5. Third-Party Services

To provide the Service, we share limited data with the following third-party providers:

6. Brazilian Users — LGPD Compliance

For users located in Brazil, we process personal data in accordance with Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD — Law No. 13,709/2018). The legal basis for processing is the performance of a contract (Article 7, V) for account and operational data, and legitimate interest or explicit consent for optional features such as conversation logging.

Brazilian users have the right to: access their personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of their data, obtain information about data sharing, and revoke consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@parlaresoft.com.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days after termination. Conversation logs (if enabled) are retained for 90 days by default. Usage and billing records are retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. You may request earlier deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. API keys and credentials are stored encrypted. We will notify you promptly in the event of a data breach that affects your personal data.

9. Cookies

Our website uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
